Cool Nostalgia Factor submitted by Meginator on August 31, 2017, 12:47pm This compilation has a great nostalgia factor to it, when you can pick out the original melodies being remixed and re-imagined (which isn't always possible, but usually works). It's interesting to note how similar some of these versions are to each other, even when done by different artists. This is especially true in the instrumentation; featuring heavy use of guitars, the album treads the line between feeling electronic and like full-blown rock. It's an interesting listen and a worthy tribute to classic video game music and sounds.
