The story 'who says women can't be doctor's' of elizabeth blackwell was amazingly encouraging.
The story book 'I could do that;, Esther Morris gets woman to vote' . Judge Esther Morris a woman who always said "I can do this" and always did, helped women of america to vote.
The final book is 'players in pigtails'. I could not find this book in the catalog. A girl who wanted to play ball. Katie was never swayed no matter who discouraged her. She walked talked and slept baseball. When president Roosevelt is concerned for the national pass time as all the professional baseball players go to war, Philip Wrigley owner of Chicago cubs decides that it was time for women/girls to play as well. His idea was that if women can work in factories and they could play ball. This gave Katie her opportunity when the 50 scouts sent out fwere surprised to find that many girls were playing as good as boys.
