Kind of racist submitted by nemiller on August 30, 2019, 1:47pm It's one of those movies where an arrogant White man goes to Asia, and becomes an expert in Mystic Asian Arts more quickly than anyone else, because he's Special.

The main character is unlikeable from start to finish, and experiences very little character growth. The Ancient One was whitewashed to be played by Tilda Swinton. I've liked a number of Marvel movies, but I really can't find a single thing to recommend this one.
