COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Not what I expected - SPOILERS submitted by dehendrick on April 18, 2010, 10:48am This movie wasn't very funny. What I thought would be a family comedy about parenting - something similar to Robin Williams' RV - turned out to be a bizarre "comedy" filled with unnecessary fowl language and sexual exploits and a father who profits off his sons accidental death. Instead of being a family comedy, it seems to aspire to sit on the shelf next to Will Ferrell movies - and it does not. It was kind of painfully awkward to watch. Swing and a miss. Ends with a naked Robin Williams running and jumping off a diving board.

Amazing movie submitted by ironwolf9876 on August 1, 2010, 4:36pm Why someone thought a rated R movie would be a family movie is beyond me.

I thought this movie was absolutely hysterical. It is a dark comedy similar in respect to "Death to Smoochy"

rubber stamp submitted by lekendrick on September 9, 2011, 6:06pm avant-garde has be applied! I'm just loosing my thought in this review, but by far worst works a Dan-Rad, Rupert Grint, this is no "Prozac Nation" christina ricci had a functional all be it flawed individual Daryl Sabara truly disappoints in this one piecing composite of victimized person together...

In light submitted by Kaydence paige on August 16, 2014, 8:38pm In light of recent events I am sad to say this movie is not a favorite. It's not funny, it's sad and I wouldn't let my kids watch it.

Fairly Dark submitted by Meginator on August 11, 2017, 9:01pm The first thing about watching this film is that you have to be aware that is very dark. It is good, even though it's a bit sadder now in light of Robin Williams's death, but it's more contemplative than you might expect.
