Baba Yaga submitted by lmangus on June 30, 2019, 2:24pm The movie that started it all, John Wick is an instant action classic, with a bit of mystery (story unfolds throughout the movie). Fast paced, great lines, and (as you'd expect) violent. Think The Matrix meets Bourne Identity. Find it entertaining? The story continues with 2 sequels (and the 4th movie in the franchise is already scheduled to reach theaters May 21, 2021). Grab your pencils boys and girls...and enjoy!

Fine Action Film submitted by generic username on August 19, 2019, 5:58pm John Wick is a retired assassin for the Russian mob. His wife died recently but she left him a dog to remember her by. The son of the Russian mob boss wants John's car so he steals it. He also kills the dog, not realizing John used to work for his father. The dead dog makes John sad so he spends the rest of the film killing Russian mobsters. This is a really good action movie made by people who understand the genre. It's nice to see Keanu Reeves (as Wick) make a good film after many weak ones of recent years.

Mostly Action, Minimal Plot submitted by Xris on November 16, 2020, 1:31am If you like lots of action in your action movie, with minimal plot, then this is it! I wanted to find out a little more about John's background with the Russian people. But it was mostly him getting revenge for someone stealing his car and killing his new puppy. This was more my husband's pick.
