Good, but not his best. submitted by Flying Sheep on August 14, 2013, 12:39pm I'm a casual fan of Marilyn Manson. Some of his work I can't get enough of (Tainted Love, Beautiful People, This is the New Sh*t, etc.) but some of his songs get tiresome and over-the-top (like his entire Portrait of an American Family album) Manson, like all artists that get corrupted by the media and by fame, also has gotten into the habit of producing low-quality music that will sell just to make an easy dollar. The High End of Low is an example. Aside from arma-godd*mn-motherf*ckin-geddon (which may be my single favorite song title of all time), this entire album is a disappointment. It's still Marilyn Manson, so it's still pretty good but compared to his other work, this album is at best, dull and at worst, pathetic.
