The music! submitted by crazypockets on July 24, 2013, 4:58pm This is a terrific movie all about a soul band from Dublin. The music is absolutely great. Another fun bonus is that Glen Hansard (if you don't know who he is, look him up! He's amazing!) is in it as a minor character back when he had long hair.

How many times have I checked this out? A lot submitted by ccrose on September 15, 2019, 6:07pm Well, yes it’s the music, and the secret wish to sing backup in an R&B band. And the amazing fact that almost all the cast are local musicians from Dublin. And, dang, they’re good!
Watch it when you’re alone do you can belt it out and with friends to just have a blast.
