Ben and George finally tie the knot in an idyllic wedding ceremony in lower Manhattan. But when George loses his job, the couple must sell their apartment and temporarily live apart until they can find an affordable new home. George moves in with two cops who live down stairs, Ben lands in Brooklyn with his nephew, his wife, and their teenage son. While struggling with the pain of separation, they are challenged by the tensions and capricious family dynamics of their new living arrangements.

Expected so much more... submitted by bookher on August 12, 2016, 6:13pm My gosh, for a movie with John Lithgow, I expected a much better plot. I kept hoping the entire movie that it would soon pick up and get interesting but, no.

Love submitted by Xris on July 12, 2020, 11:52am It's real, and sweet, and sad. Especially sad are the symbolic stair scenes. A movie about love, from different stages in life. But worth the watch.
