COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The Sound of the Season for Many Good Reasons submitted by Meginator on August 1, 2022, 3:21pm This Christmas album has a simplicity and warmth to it that comes directly from Nat King Cole’s deep and powerful vocals, delivered in the classic crooner style that has long dominated holiday music. The track list features both traditional carols and contemporary compositions that have since become part of the Christmas canon, most notably “The Christmas Song”, and both “Adeste Fideles” and “O Tannenbaum” feature the original non-English lyrics. This album is inherently comforting, and Nat King Cole’s classic renditions of traditional holiday music have become the sound of the season for good reason.
