COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The Wind Rises submitted by SBNB on June 18, 2015, 9:12pm It started off interesting, but many of this kind of movie do. It ended up being a good movie overall.

Good submitted by leenajong on July 14, 2015, 11:44am Good movie with a very nice storyboards. I like Japanese cartoons.

The Wind Rises submitted by avrogers1 on July 6, 2018, 8:48pm This was a good find! The animation is done really well and some of the scenes are really pretty. This is a neat story about a boy who dreams of flying and designing air planes. His career and his dreams might just make that a reality! In the meantime he goes on quite interesting journeys and learns a lot about aviation. Personally, I felt like the story could have progressed a little faster, the visuals were great but it was still a little bit slow.

Beautiful and Lovely submitted by kathscot on July 7, 2018, 12:31pm A visually beautiful movie with a lovely (and partially historical) story

The Wind Rises submitted by kelmu on July 7, 2018, 7:09pm Saw this in the theaters originally and it's still good

Great submitted by anacoluthon on August 1, 2018, 5:46pm A beautiful film that makes me nostalgic for a time and a place I've never experienced.

Good submitted by nolanmcpherson on July 13, 2021, 9:34pm It is a beautiful anime.
