Hackman was great submitted by saleder on August 28, 2019, 5:33pm So fun to see Hackman in this psychological drama. Cazales was also great, and the film included a very young Cindy Williams of Laverne and Shirley fame. Recommended!

Early worries about technology and privacy submitted by ccrose on August 31, 2019, 4:29pm Hackman was a fine actor who did not play flamboyant characters that I know of. But intensity was his forte. This is a parallel to another movie of this time with similar plot, Blow Up, which had a fashion photographer out in the park taking pictures for pleasure when he photographs young Vanessa Redgrave incidentally . Developing those pictures, it appears to be a dead man behind a bush where Redgrave was standing. Getting worried, he goes back to the scene and the body is gone.
Both Hackman and David Hemmings believe they are privy to dangerous, deadly happenings.
