Seven Daysssssss submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 9:44pm Content Note: The film includes some scenes with dead/dying animals and the storyline deals with child abuse and neglect.

I didn’t remember much about this film aside from the premise and the ending, but its story still packs plenty of chills. Built around atmospherics and implication more than outright gore (although it does include some brief startling imagery- as always in the genre, it’s best to look up proper content warnings before watching), the story comes together as a well-paced mystery while still retaining an unsettling, haunted feeling. The film does have some loose threads and unfortunately unexplored parallels between the main character and the villain(s), but it is still a satisfying and unique horror story.
