COMMUNITY REVIEWS

This one's fun. It's like a radio broadcast, ads and all. submitted by lisa on August 12, 2019, 11:53am Some of the jingles are great (I especially like Heinz Baked Beans), but my favorite cut is probably Mary Ann with the Shaky Hands. That said, I Can See for Miles is iconic.

Unique submitted by kencza on August 3, 2021, 10:57pm Great combination of some of their best music and some twisted fun

Beyond the Big Hits submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:01am This album offers something surprisingly different from what you might expect being familiar with The Who’s most successful singles or “Tommy”. It’s definitely more artistically minded than a lot of other music from the era, though it does fit in with their usual style and is easy to listen to; the band’s pretensions never outpace their ability to craft commercially viable pop-rock songs (perhaps an irony, given the album’s title), and their ambitions ultimately play out in a series of compelling tracks that hold up well today.

Deluxe edition submitted by tisaallen on June 28, 2022, 9:27am This double disc version of my favorite Who album has the mono mix, which I prefer, on disc 2 and adds a grip of outtakes that hold up pretty well as a listen.
