Jazz Takes on Christmas Classics submitted by Meginator on June 23, 2023, 11:44pm This small collection of jazz interpretations of classic Christmas music showcases the musicians’ incredible inventiveness and their ability to inject novelty into well-worn songs. Each track has a unique style that contributes to the album’s ability to distinguish itself from every other group of holiday hits, yet each is also familiar enough to provide that bit of comfort that makes seasonal music so lovely. This is an excellent choice for a Christmas music change-up and a particularly good option for listeners who already enjoy or are curious about jazz.
