Funny mockumentary submitted by 21621031390949 on July 15, 2012, 12:25pm This is a mockumentary about people and their dogs at a national level dog show. It was chuckle-out-loud funny to me and well worth watching for a light diversion.

Hilarious submitted by Sonia on June 23, 2014, 10:30am Who knew a movie about a dog show could be so entertaining! This movie has a great cast full of top comedians showing us the hilariously extreme lengths dog owners will go just to win best in show. Even if you aren't a dog lover this movie will have you cracking up.

Really Funny submitted by kathscot on August 29, 2016, 8:55pm Christopher Guest is so talented and makes such funny films.

Absolutely Hilarious submitted by lauramason89 on August 18, 2018, 11:48am I think this is one of the best mockumentary films. It's poignant, hilarious and *so* awkward, but in the best way. I watch it every couple of years, and always find it as fresh and funny as the first time I saw it.

Hilarious cast and crew submitted by Cari on June 17, 2019, 11:41pm Couldn’t stop laughing

A good popcorn, blanket and couch movie submitted by ccrose on August 27, 2019, 6:53pm This show is played as if these doggie owners are “real people “ as if the movie is a documentary but you’ll get it quickly as in the opening scene when a married couple take their Weimaraner to a shrink.
Delightful.

Really funny submitted by jayzwack on June 30, 2020, 4:40pm Very rewatchable and funny every time.

Another Hit Mockumentary submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 9:17am Christopher Guest brings his signature improvisational style and an all-star lineup of hilarious actors and actresses to the world of high-end dog shows. It can take a while to become immersed in the story because of the loose structure, but each featured couple (and dog) has a unique plotline that plays out over the course of the film; the running gags are as much a part of the story as the dog show itself, and the actors play hilarious caricatures that feel just enough like plausible characters to maintain an emotional investment. The loose dialogue lends the film a sense of reality, as the cast is coming up with jokes on the spot just as real-life subjects would do in an actual interview. This style of filmmaking definitely won’t be to everyone’s taste, but it gets a blue ribbon in the mockumentary category.

So good submitted by samanthar on July 25, 2022, 2:56pm This mockumentary is absolutely hilarious. I didn't stop laughing! The dog owners are over the top caricatures. The acting and improvisation is top notch talent. The cast has amazing chemistry with each other and demonstrate strong improvisational skills. I was blown away when I stopped to consider how much skill some of the scenes must have taken. I loved watching closely and seeing some of the cast break into smiles as they tried to suppress their own laughter. And the cherry on top -- all the adorable dogs featured front and center!! Love this movie.

Hilarious submitted by brooksza on July 31, 2022, 3:51pm Great characters and perfect setting for a bunch of comedians to be funny. Beatrice's humans were my favorites.

B R I L L I A N T ! ! ! submitted by Tassos on March 9, 2023, 2:15pm 23 year old and as fresh as new. Hilariously funny, especially if you have watched one of these Dog shows (this seems a spoof of the Westminster one)

The best! submitted by SusanS on August 20, 2023, 4:49pm This movie is one of my all-time favorites. The story is terrific and the cast is amazing.
