Season eleven plunges Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) into extreme peril as they face The Darkness, a sinister new menace unleashed upon the Earth. They continue their monster-hunting missions, battling the usual werewolves, black-eyed demons and even a vengeful ghost in a stuffed bunny costume, but with a sharp new focus: destroy The Darkness. Needing all the help they can get, the brothers turn to fallen angel Castiel (Misha Collins); King of Hell Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard); and even an unassuming God (Rob Benedict) -- only to come face to face with Lucifer and Crowley's power-hungry witch mother, Rowena (Ruth Connell).
DVD; NTSC, region 1; widescreen (1.78:1); Dolby digital 5.1.

Season 11 (warning, spoilers ahead)
submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 16, 2019, 2:35pm
Season 11 begins with the Winchester brothers dealing with the apocalypse they brought about in an attempt to save each others' lives (again). One begins to wonder how two people who live only to fight evil manage to nearly destroy the world so often just to save their own skins even though their profession is by its very nature dangerous and often fatal.
This season also deviates from orthodox Christian cosmology of how God made the world. So, for viewers whom that will offend, don't watch this season or any of the ones that follow it.
This season (and subsequent ones) have very negative portrayals of witches/Pagans/Heathens and so viewers who identify as such may find this season (and subsequent ones) offensive.
However, if you can put all those caveats aside, the show is fun to watch. It contains the occasional laugh and some characters who we are sorry to see die... to the extent that any character does on this show in which death is not permanent and doppelgangers exist.
