COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Bright Folk Tunes submitted by Meginator on June 22, 2020, 12:21pm Many of these folk tunes are immediately familiar, employing familiar chord structures and progressions, but the use of mandolin to carry most of the primary melodies sets this album apart. The overall quality is often brighter, and the songs feel more complex given the mandolin’s inherent timbre; though different from the usual experience, the instrumentation feels natural and the album is a welcome new take on tried-and-true musical tropes.
