Looking for something different to watch with your child? submitted by mar_freire on August 19, 2020, 12:48pm We were looking for something different to watch with our child (almost 7 years old) and we decided to test a classic silent movie like this one. It was great! The humor is very accessible and there is so much tension in the climbing scenes!! We will be looking for other silent movies to watch as a family.

Great Silent Film - underappreciated star submitted by pk on June 20, 2023, 9:28am Harold Lloyd is an underappreciated silent film star, but give him a chance. This is a charming and funny silent film about the young man named Harold, trying to "make it big" in the city so he and his hometown girlfriend can marry. Lloyd is an incredibly appealing performer, and the film has a long list of funny moments. The "hiding from the landlady there to collect the rent" scene is hilarious! You have probably seen the image of Lloyd hanging from a clock, but many have not seen this film in its entirety. Check it out!
