Decent story, great acting submitted by asopijw65 on August 17, 2014, 2:22am The story itself wasn't anything too amazing. It was your typical con movie, except based on real life but also extremely embellished. Everything moved too slow for me, which is why the movie was so long. However, what really made this movie stand out was the incredible acting from the talented cast. Jennifer Lawrence truly shines in this film as Irving's crazy wife. She is an absolute scene stealer. I would recommend this movie for her alone. Every actor embraces their role and commits fully.

Perfectly fine and fun movie -- basically popcorn. But it really should be better given the cast. Crazy it was nominated for 10 Oscars.
