Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut and maybe finding true love; Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth; Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonder if he's growing too 'soft' handing with his pals; and Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some very close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna, run amuck, and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.

It generally lacks any tension as for plot! An fine it's happy to be simply looked at! The story a sloth moving very quickly protect his triplets, and great he's a supporting accompaniment land not yet found!

This one, in my opinion, is weaker than the first 2, but my 3 year old son really loved it, so it was worth watching. If you have a young child I think they will like this. This one was probably my son's favorite out of the first 3 Ice Age movies because of the dinosaurs. There is some good humor to help keep adults entertained.
