COMMUNITY REVIEWS

not worth your time submitted by sonicfun01 on April 7, 2014, 9:56am The first Kick-Ass was a decent take on the used and abused super hero genre. The sequel is a contrived and predictable waste of time. It's no wonder Jim Carey opted out of the press junket for this film, even though he says it was due to the violence in this film. Whatever the reason, he was right to distance himself from this project.

Not good submitted by leenajong on July 30, 2015, 7:28pm Nothing new for me.

Funny! submitted by Xris on July 8, 2017, 11:15pm I thought it was humorous and a good watch.

Good submitted by yenkong on July 17, 2017, 8:53pm I think it's fun to watch.

Kick-Ass 2 submitted by a2sue on August 15, 2017, 11:19pm The sequel is only so-so... There was no need for a Kick-Ass 2 -- they should have stopped after the first one.

Very dark submitted by RebeccaWittekindt on June 23, 2023, 2:41pm I’ve never been familiar with the comic, but I surprised by how violent the first one was. So not sure why I was surprised by how the second movie was even darker. Didn’t hate it, liked quite a few of the performances, but might hesitate to recommend it.
