COMMUNITY REVIEWS

don't waste your time submitted by lawrencekl57 on September 1, 2016, 10:11pm We didn't see this one in the theater because it got such bad reviews. They were right. I'm glad that I didn't pay to see it! I loved Bridesmaids, liked Ghostbusters, but everything else Melissa McCarthy has made ranges from bad to horrible.

Pretty Decent Movie submitted by avrogers1 on June 20, 2017, 11:51am I thought it was a decent movie. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Honestly, most of the funny parts were in the previews, but overall, it was alright.

TB submitted by a2sue on July 19, 2017, 2:51am In general, I'm a fan of Melissa McCarthy, but The Boss is NOT one of her better films.

The boss submitted by leenajong on July 22, 2017, 10:21am I don't like the plot of this story. McCarthy is trying too hard.

Hilarious, even if low-brow and vulgar at times submitted by Tassos on December 29, 2018, 10:25am Watching this comedy you understand why Melissa McCarthy is the highest paying actress, despite being the least good looking.

Entertaining. Not great. But it's important to point out that submitted by lisa on July 18, 2019, 4:22pm the above reviewer is wrong about Melissa McCarthy's "looks".

Mildly funny submitted by jcottey on July 23, 2020, 8:58pm There were a few moments that made me laugh, but it wasn't my favorite Melissa McCarthy movie. Not bad for this brand of comedy, but there are better.

The boss submitted by yufamily on August 15, 2022, 8:09pm Melissa McCarthy can do physical humor as well as anything else.
