Well made

Malick's dreamy natural style works well for characters discovering a new world. I can only imagine how new everything felt from both the colonist and native American sides. The film brings this time period to life and the patient style allowed me to take in everything new to the characters. There are two distinct halves of this movie, both felt thoughtful.
I really like where this movie goes in the third act, I'm not sure if it's historically accurate but it worked for the story. Late in the movie Pocahontas is wearing a green dress while she runs through greenery. It almost looked like the green from her new world was reflecting onto her dress.
