He was really bad in school in the beginning until his mom pushed him to work harder, as an adult he did what some people called miracles, because they were never done before. He is a neurosurgeon. If you haven't seen the movie you should, unless you hate blood. This movie shows him doing operations.

Amazing story submitted by jakabs on March 10, 2021, 8:14am If you've never read it heard about Been Carson's life story, this movie is amazing. His life of overcoming obstacles including poverty and racism to become a world renowned orthopedic neurosurgeon is inspirational. A definite must see.
