The Whole Wide World submitted by apicknell on July 10, 2015, 9:31pm Wreckless Eric is one of those voices from the 60's garage wave that got lost in the shuffle of time. Those who have seen "Stranger Than Fiction" might recall Will Ferrell's rendition of "Whole Wide World," a song that is both adorably cute and hard rockin'.

This is a collection of Eric's somewhat stranger tastes which nonetheless form a wonderful time capsule of the pop culture influencing music at the time. Songs such as "Astrovan" kind of hit the nail on the head, while "Men in Sandals" sounds like the lament of one cool guy, Eric, trying to guide his fellow men to coolness, i.e. - don't wear socks with sandals. These are songs about the minutia of life in the late 60's/early 70's, with Eric's signature raw guitar. A fun and often silly listen.
