Strong submitted by rossorr on October 6, 2016, 10:31am We've got a couple of dangerous dames; and around the 78-minute mark the police get called—no spoilers why. But this is less "noir" and more an A-list actors' piece about a marriage in trouble, with screenplay and source novel both authored by women. Barbara Stanwyck gives a great performance; but the whole cast is good.

Townie note: Some of the action centers on a nightclub called the "Del Rio."

Good, for its age, but too much blather I had to skip. Could be a better movie if it was 2/3rds as long. submitted by Tassos on December 27, 2019, 6:33am Better than the other crappy noir films of its age.
