No Where Near As Fun As the Original submitted by Spectacular Reference-Man on July 26, 2013, 10:11am The first Taken movie was a great adventure of a dad with "a particular set of skills" going to rescue his kidnapped daughter. Taken 2, however, is a convoluted story of the family of one of the men killed in Taken trying to seek revenge. Potential is there, but this time, Liam Neeson is joined by his ex-wife and daughter for the adventure. Half the movie is just him telling them what to do or where to go. Weak plot, and weak action. I would stick to the first as a stand-alone movie.
