COMMUNITY REVIEWS

great submitted by nicenora2371 on August 30, 2013, 5:09pm nice movie

The cast submitted by willow on August 31, 2015, 1:07pm English actor Alec Guinness plays Prince Feisal, and apparently looked quite similar to him in his makeup. He modeled his accent after Omar Sharif.

Mexican-born Anthony Quinn plays Auda abu Tayi, and applied his own makeup for the role.

Puerto Rican José Ferrer plays the Turkish Bey.

Omar Sharif (who is of Lebanese Catholic descent, by way of Egypt) plays Sherif Ali.

So Good submitted by SaraP on July 25, 2022, 2:30pm The acting... the writing... the music... the cinematography. A beautiful film.

Worth the reputation submitted by brooksza on August 15, 2022, 11:48am Beautiful wide desert vistas of the first half.

This was a lot of story and I did start losing some steam toward the end. The intermission was appreciated though. It was much funnier and also darker than I was expecting. A few really surprising visual reveals in this.

The two halves are very distinct in this epic. The score sounded familiar, but maybe it's just because it's a classic that I've heard since.

An epic character journey for Lawrence with some loaded imagery and themes of colonialism and religion.
