A different kind of superhero movie submitted by KJRULEZ on July 25, 2016, 10:23pm Not as funny as I expected, but lighthearted and super unique. Totally different tone and style than other superhero films and that really makes it stand out. The plot wasn't the greatest (didn't care for how they interwove the backstory), but I suspect that the sequel won't have this problem. Great set up, great choice of B-list characters.

Nailed It submitted by Meginator on August 7, 2017, 3:45pm Deadpool is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time; the filmmakers took a big gamble when deciding on such an over-the-top sarcastic, snarky tone for the movie, but their bet paid off big. No other superhero film is quite like this one, and for that matter Deadpool handles the balance between snark for snark's sake and actual substance better than most films I've seen. Ryan Reynolds is pitch perfect as the title character and gives you a guy you can root for in spite of, and maybe because, of his (many) faults, and the central love story for once doesn't feel superfluous but, rather, central to our understanding of the character. The action is good, the effects don't rely too heavily on unbelievable and corny CGI, and the whole production is incredibly slick. They really nailed it with this film and I can't get enough of it.

Deadpool submitted by avrogers1 on June 19, 2019, 1:59pm What is there to say about the dead pool movies... Well for starters they are jammed packed action and laughs from start to finish. The cast is amazing! The soundtrack is phenomenonal! Its a great film!
Its probably my favorite comic themed movie thus far and it never gets old.
