A cult classic submitted by tbbrown76 on July 12, 2014, 8:57pm but I didn't like it all that much. Kind of weird.

Blade Runner submitted by lstorc on August 5, 2018, 10:48pm Not enticing to watch; anti-climactic and boring

Hmm submitted by anacoluthon on August 18, 2018, 4:42pm A bit too slow for me. I kept dozing off and couldn't follow the plot.

Don't watch this unless a big Cyberpunk fan submitted by valjean on August 20, 2018, 8:38am First of all, do not watch this movie unless you are familiar with this kind of cyberpunk dystopian setting. This is an extended version of the director's cut so there is NO NARRATION, which makes it a cleaner and more atmospheric, but will leave people unfamilar with the story and/or setting confused without the extra information the narration provides.
Blade Runner is a film version of a book by Philip L. Dick called "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" which is a title that much more accurately reflects the film, even though Blade Runner sounds much cooler. The movie is basically a detective noir, so there is a lot of one-on-one conversations that require context and reflection to really get something out of it. However, the movie is a classic, and the final scenes of the movie will strike at the heart of even the most jaded of viewers, both for its action and its message.

Lots of people think this POS is some big deal. It is NOT. THouhghtless script, worthless characters. Boring to death. submitted by Tassos on May 14, 2021, 11:43am If you are one of these addicts who think Star Trek and Star wars and other space soap operas are any good, maybe you would like this worthless POS. I even had a girlfriend for a short while, who told me this crap was her... favorite movie. THis is why I borrowed it, out of curiosity, to see if it is any good. It sure is NOT. I am skipping scene after boring, worthless scene. THe musical score is far more idiotic than the average musical score, and that is saying plenty! ALmost UNBEARABLE to watch, if you value your time.

All Time Favorite Movie submitted by MikkiMoscara on June 9, 2023, 11:15am Blade Runner is my favorite movie. It's so relevant to the AI advancements of today and the new struggles of the Turing Test. It's called the Voight-Kampff test in the movie. It's an excellent adaptation of Philip K. Dick's 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.' Highly recommend.

Blade Runner. submitted by yufamily on July 14, 2023, 8:30am The predictions back then that in 2019, cars would fly simply didn’t come to fruition.
