COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Captivating submitted by Beth Manuel on July 15, 2016, 9:45am The stop motion animation in this film made everything seem as though it was a live set. I had to digest this plot for a while before I understood the point and why the creator chose to use one voice for most of the characters. I don't want to spoil anything for future viewers. Not that there's a big reveal at the end or anything, it was more cerebral. I'm glad I waited for the DVD, though.

Utterly unique submitted by sVfGI7Glt2pz7GZgVB90 on August 15, 2020, 11:00pm A stop-motion animation. You soon realize that there's this one main character, but everybody else sounds the same and looks the same. All the puppets have the same faces. Men or women have the same voice. It's all a bit disorientating until you realize that maybe he's suffering from some kind of condition or is it just that he has the struggle to connect with people.

Eventually, he meets a woman with a different face and a different voice. And you realize they found a connection.

It's all about how people struggle to find connections in the real world. The movie is romantic in places, it's realistic in places. And above all, it is utterly unique.
