How had I not heard of this before? submitted by majean on July 19, 2019, 5:25pm I loved the characters, the story, and the costumes were TO DIE FOR. The attention to detail and the way each character was given an obvious and distinctive style was so impressive. I don't see that often in period movies. I did not know until after seeing it (and watching the informative and interesting bonus documentaries) that the book was unfinished. I am pleased with the ending given in the movie, and it seems in keeping with what was delivered in the plot to that point.
