A doctor in a small California town finds that his patients are becoming hysterical and accusing their loved ones of being mindless imposters. Realizing a strange alien invasion is quickly becoming out of control, the doctor tries to escape to warn others before it's too late.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The 1978 version is much better submitted by Will O on August 25, 2020, 7:59pm I saw the '78 version first so had high expectations which weren't quite met.
This was good but didn't really have the same sense of terror and paranoia even though there were still moments that were good it just didn't quite do enough for me.
I know this was an allegory for communism so it's interesting from a historical context but I'll rewatch '78 instead of this one now that I've seen both.
