pretty good, mostly late-Beatles Beatles submitted by lisa on August 20, 2015, 9:42am The first cut, Penny Lane, is dazzling in its layers (the fire bell and the horns in particular). The rest are comparatively laconic and sometimes surreal and/or sleepy. But it was an entertaining variation on the Beatles, and I'm glad it's filed at the library under Beatles, vs. Hawkes, or I wouldn'ta stumbled across it.
