Enjoy with a cuppa submitted by snabbleon on July 11, 2016, 8:06pm Very British in pace and characters. Nothing snarky or mean, just real people dealing with a very odd situation. Maggie Smith is great as usual. This movie should be enjoyed when you have a lot of time to appreciate it...not with the kids or other impatient viewers looking for action and sex.

Of trying to maintain some sort of independence and dignity in old age. Of strength and determination and stubbornness. Of tolerance and begrudging admiration. Worth a watch.

Charisma submitted by saleder on June 23, 2022, 12:21pm I picked up on the power of pure charisma that Maggie Smith's character used to her advantage during all the years she was flying under the radar, living in her van and healing her demons. Alex Jennings' character gave her a soft place to land and some significant help. This story was told in a very sweet, interesting way.
