Season 3 submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 15, 2019, 4:31pm As this British murder mystery series progresses, the plot lines feel increasingly contrived and the murders less believable. For example, despite being a small-town Catholic priest, Brown has acquired an arch-nemesis, a glamorous international thief clever enough to always escape the law but never quite thwart Brown's efforts to solve murders and return stolen property to its previous owner.
I can't help but wonder that no one in this town objects to its high crime rate, if one considers how very many murders Brown solves in this very small, rural English village.
