Read by Johnathan McClain.
New York, 1888. Gas lamps still flicker in the city streets, but the miracle of electric light is in its infancy. The person who controls the means to turn night into day will make historyand a vast fortune. A young untested lawyer named Paul Cravath, fresh out of Columbia Law School, takes a case that seems impossible to win. Pauls client, George Westinghouse, has been sued by Thomas Edison over a billion-dollar question: Who invented the light bulb and holds the right to power the country?

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Interesting historical fiction submitted by 21621031390949 on June 19, 2018, 10:00pm Remember all those wonderful things you learned in grade school about Thomas Edison? This book will make you question this American hero, as you learn more about his (and George Westinghouse's) dirty fights for credit for their inventions.
This book is not great literature, nor is it all factual, but it's an interesting story and much of it is true. The reader of the audible audio narration is good.
