A Great Movie submitted by drewy234432 on June 13, 2015, 12:48pm Out of all of the Jurassic Park movies, this is by far the best. Jurassic park is an amazing movie with an interesting and creative plot. The amazing graphics were far ahead of their time and is like no other dinosaur movie. I would recommend that you only watch the first of this trilogy, soon to tetetralogy, in order to preserve the memory of the first movie.

Great! submitted by wendylv on August 10, 2015, 4:24pm Scary sci-fi at its best.

Classic! submitted by KOH on August 30, 2017, 9:57pm JP is a classic!!

still a great movie! submitted by jsantihall on June 30, 2018, 2:11pm we watched this movie again in advance of seeing the new jurassic world and it was just as good as I remember (although the technology is a little hokey and jeff goldblum spends too much time towards the end of the movie with his shirt unbuttoned!)

Great movie for all! submitted by elepling on August 3, 2018, 7:35pm oldie but goodie, special effects are still amazing

my intro to dinosaurs submitted by Sudar82 on July 25, 2022, 4:52pm this was a great movie and actually my inroduction to dinosaurs as kid

A true classic submitted by brooksza on August 15, 2022, 3:02pm This really, really delivered on whatever rewatch this is for me. The first 45 minutes lays some effective foreshadowing -- and then the storm starts. I was on the edge of my seat.

Some of the revolutionary effects look a little plastic or screen (just a few and they mostly look very good, probably just too clear on the bluray). The exciting, scary and amazing moments are really effective. I still love the Mr DNA sequence for how it distills down the complex science into a bite size idea for the audience.

The ideas within this story are interesting. We obviously get a lot about man playing god, but we also see man exerting control over machines (helicopter seatbelts, safety features on the rides, park's power supply and computers).

Another Spielberg movie that starts off with a bang. John Williams' score is top notch.

Love submitted by Abbie D. on August 21, 2022, 3:07pm This is the movie that started my obsession with dinos! So good!

One of my favorites. submitted by RebeccaWittekindt on July 3, 2023, 9:03pm I’ve loved dinosaurs all my life, and when I read the book and heard Spielberg was directing a movie version, I was beyond excited. I felt like it was the movie I had spent my life waiting for. To see dinosaurs so lifelike was a powerful moment for me. I can point out all the flaws and plot holes all day long, but at the end of the day, it’s an incredible experience.
