Edward Everett Horton, Fredric March, Gary Cooper.
A trio of Americans in Paris who enter into a very adult 'gentleman's' agreement, in this continental pre-Code comedy freely adapted by Ben Hecht (Notorious) from a play. A risque relationship comedy and a witty take on creative pursuits, it concerns a commercial artist unable, or unwilling, to choose between the equally dashing painter and playwright she meets on a train en route to the City of Light. Special features included.
Blu-ray, widescreen.
Requires Blu-ray player.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

This is directed by the GREAT ERNST LUBITSCH, who 99% of today;s moviegoers have no clue who he was. submitted by Tassos on December 23, 2021, 10:52am So it's real good, very witty even after 91 years (!!!), but not as good his "THe SHop around the corner", the classic masterpiece which was imitated by "You got mail" or something, which was so far inferior, despite the best efforts of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Lubitsch himself thought that the "Shop" was his best movie ever.

And oh, BTW, the females in the audience will notice how great a young Gary Cooper looked here.
