Bradley Cooper, Jamie Dornan, Sienna Miller, Lily James, Emma Thompson, Uma Thurman, Daniel Bruhl, Alicia Vikander.
Chef Adam Jones had it all, and lost it. A rockstar chef of a two-star Michelin restaurant with the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third elusive Michelin star though, he₂ll need the best of the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

great chef story submitted by LVDS on June 20, 2016, 9:16pm being a chef takes dedication and passion, well represented in this story.

good film submitted by kencza on July 10, 2016, 9:38pm excellent performance by Cooper as he was meticulous and passionate
but reckless and obnoxious at the same time

boring submitted by manz on July 23, 2016, 8:31pm Not that great. Didn't hold interest.

Funny???? submitted by Kfroggett on August 1, 2016, 12:42pm Library has it listed as a comedy but it really isn't. Enjoyed it but I thought it would be funny!

Burnt submitted by pamhockey25 on August 19, 2016, 4:14pm Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) is a chef who destroyed a highly successful career with drugs and bad behavior. He cleans up his act and is determined to make a comeback and earn his third Michelin star. But he's stepped on so many people, can he do it? It wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.

anxiety provoking submitted by Linda Rama on July 12, 2017, 7:24pm Got caught up in all the fast paced activity. So glad it ended with a sigh!

Burnt submitted by yenkong on July 28, 2017, 9:50pm The guy needs anger management class.

Good submitted by ferielp on August 24, 2017, 12:50pm A bit pretentious, but lovely to see those kitchens and professional kitchenstaff (who were not actors).

nice submitted by yufamily on August 23, 2019, 7:54pm Bradley Cooper does a nice job

A Two-hour Guide to How to Be an Absolute Rascal submitted by sVfGI7Glt2pz7GZgVB90 on August 23, 2020, 9:44am Bradley Cooper is a chef, who is ruined, he has been in Paris on drugs and on booze, and he's thrown it all away, and he returns to London. He's trying to clean himself up, and he's single-minded to win his third Michelin star. I just completely despised him from the start ... he's shouting, cursing, and throwing pottery across the kitchen. When you can't stand the principal character as much as you can't bear Bradley Cooper in this film, you're going to wind up hating it.

Funny submitted by crp on August 11, 2022, 12:26pm Funny to watch even though it's stereotypical and pretentious in its telling.
