Classical Silliness submitted by schriste on June 17, 2014, 11:30am Beethoven's Wig: More Sing-Along Symphonies is a strong sequel to the first recording. Like the original, classical melodies are given new lyrics that appeal to children--and are often clever enough to appeal to adults too. The new words are musically-related and often give the listener information on the piece itself. My young children love listening to this CD and laugh out loud at their favorites. The only word of caution I have to offer is that the lyrics are very, very catchy--and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to hear some of these pieces in their original form without hearing the words from this CD! Thankfully for parents, instrumental tracks are included as well, which provides a good compromise when I'm ready to switch to a different album long before my children are.
