Flung through a cosmic wormhole, American astronaut John Crichton finds himself fighting for his life in the middle of an alien prison break, inside a Leviathan, a living space ship, on the far side of the galaxy. Hunted by the relentless Crais, a commander of the galactic enforcers known as Peacekeepers, Crichton joins forces with the alien convicts: hulking warrior Ka D'Argo; blue-skinned Priestess Zhaan; diminutive Dominar Rigel XVI.

Fantastic submitted by zmclaugh on August 2, 2018, 5:15pm The beginning to a great science fiction TV show. With puppets.

Good, Fun Science fiction submitted by peteralway on July 25, 2020, 10:57pm A fine example of wandering-the-galaxy style science fiction show. A good sense of humor, and charming rogue-ish main characters. Rather than than using season-long story arcs, the series has stand-alone episodes, so that you can watch an episode now and then, without and obligation to binge-watch. I'm mostly through season 1 and having a fine time.

The best of the 90s Golden Years of Sci Fi submitted by severian on July 23, 2021, 2:25pm If you like sci fi TV from the 90's (24 episodes a season, each an hour long), this is one of the best. It's a lot aggressively weirder than Star Trek (puppets, anyone?) and the characters have genuinely moving and great arcs. There are some filler episodes here and there (again, 24 episodes a season), but it's worth sticking with. The whole series is great!
