Creepy submitted by nfrassrand on June 24, 2011, 10:58am Coraline is super creepy, and I hate it, but the nightmare before Christmas is okay, but make sure you can handle it.

Amazing realization of a great story, not without flaws submitted by cherylo on July 6, 2011, 8:27pm This is a loving -and creepy- adaptation of a wonderful fantasy book, featuring a strong female protagonist. Several scenes are questionable for children, unfortunately, especially in the 3D version (features some of the puppet characters scantily clad showing rather grotesque physiques in one particularly jarring scene). Definitely worth watching for the performances by John Hodgeman as Coraline's father and other father and Terry Hatcher as Coraline's mother and other mother, and a must-see for any fan of Neil Gaiman and/or stop-motion animation. Also features a They Might Be Giants original song.

Creepy and cool submitted by coolwhipcat on July 9, 2011, 10:52am I love this movie so much! Its very creepy. For people older than 12 probably. The more you watch it the scarier. I love the music

Ok submitted by fka83111 on July 15, 2011, 1:54pm nice movie

CREEPY and scary submitted by ferdoble on August 2, 2011, 4:23pm What a freaking weird movie. CREEPY, very very CREEPY! It may look like a kids film format, but I wouldn't let my kids watch that, not until at least 12, maybe later. Hell I could barely take it. Its strait up scary!

I should say that it is also very good. That I suppose you should know, but go into it with a blankie you can trust.

Coraline submitted by marisal on August 10, 2011, 2:12pm This movie scared me a bit after I saw it.

creepy submitted by Sierra B on August 23, 2012, 9:19pm I watched this movie with my seven year old cousin. I had nightmares she loved it. It's all about the person.

Beautiful submitted by crazypockets on July 13, 2013, 3:54pm I absolutely love this movie! It's such an imaginative modern day fairy tale. The animation is innovative and interesting, and the visuals are so beautiful. It really is best when seen in 3D, but either way, it would be enjoyable. The story is eerie and intriguing, and kids as well as adults should love it. See if you can pick out the Michigan connection!

Creepy with brief disturbing scenes submitted by Kadydja13 on August 4, 2014, 2:35pm I remember watching this when it came out. I thought it was really creepy, and there was a distrubing scene that made me want to hurl.

SUPER CREEPY=SUPER AWESOME submitted by serafina on July 2, 2015, 8:33am If u love scary then.....

TOTALLY WATCH CORALINE!!!

Scary submitted by purchasingqueen on August 23, 2016, 5:37pm Not at all what I expected. This movie was creepy and scary. Teri Hatcher voices the main character and is eerily creepy. Too scary for small children.

great submitted by anacoluthon on July 12, 2018, 9:38am A creepily wonderful animated retelling of the Neil Gaiman book

Not for kids, but that's okay submitted by KOH on July 27, 2018, 12:26pm Watch without kiddos and enjoy this delightfully creepy film!

Coraline submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 4:51am A little too creepy for kids but pretty awesome

Coraline submitted by SBNB on June 23, 2019, 11:44am Definitely a little creepy. I watched it by myself, and I won’t watch it with my five-year-old daughter until she is older.

Child stares down her fears and rescues mom and dad submitted by ccrose on August 10, 2019, 11:37pm The claymation is fascinating. Imagine resetting each tiny movement, especially when many things in garden are animated. Those scenes reminded me of the first garden scene when Dorothy finds herself in Oz with flowers transforming into many little people.
The constant presence of visually creepy in almost every minute of the film is relentless. However, if you can ride through the goosebumps, and just observe all the claymation resetting of figures required , it’s pretty impressive .one set of figures, women, are scantily clothed. The story took too much time stretching out the assaults of creepy things without moving the story ahead.

Good movie submitted by irmcpherson on July 8, 2021, 8:51pm A little creepy but good movie.

EEK Too Scary For Me submitted by Shaylane Webb on June 27, 2022, 6:25pm EEK Too Scary For Me I Don't Want To See This Movie At All I Like Twilight And Disney.

amazing animation submitted by zaraz on August 8, 2022, 5:42pm this is one of my favorite animated films— it’s super creepy and definitely not geared towards kids, but it’s so well made. highly recommend for people who don’t mind stories that are on the eerier side!

Coraline submitted by hrgray on August 12, 2023, 11:28pm Coraline has excellent characters and beautiful stop-motion animation, but it definitely gets pretty scary and visually creepy at times. It's a fun movie to re-watch around Halloween.
