Unexpected submitted by tree64 on June 16, 2012, 6:20pm This movie was not as good as I expected it to be. Although it did a great job telling viewers about what processes Facebook had to undergo, it was much more inappropriate than it could be. Even though I realize those parts really happened, the movie could have been made cleaner so the whole family could watch it together. Still, it is an interesting movie, and if you use Facebook and are curious about how it got started, you should definitely watch this movie.

Social Network submitted by SBNB on July 4, 2012, 3:13pm I liked it. It wasn't anything special, but it was interesting to watch.

the social network submitted by a2sue on July 16, 2013, 7:44pm it was interesting to get background regarding facebook

This will be what we believe in the future is how it was. submitted by lisa on August 16, 2018, 12:49pm Movies work that way.

Timeless and compelling. submitted by brooksza on June 15, 2023, 11:32am Fincher does so much to make this a more compelling movie than it has any business being, especially the structure, score and performances. And this movie feels timeless despite the developments in Facebook and the social networking industry since 2010.

It was interesting to watch this shortly after finishing the Elizabeth Holmes Hulu series The Dropout. Tons of similarities and I'm glad this was a movie and not a TV series.

Even on rewatch, I still don't get the stock dilution.
