Amazing submitted by Chris82 on July 31, 2011, 8:29pm This is one of the few cases the movies are as good as the books. Its not quite as good as the other two movies but its worth watching for anyone.

AWsome submitted by jakabe on June 22, 2012, 12:14pm Great cool epic period.

Two Towers submitted by SBNB on July 12, 2012, 8:35pm The Two Towers was my least favorite of the three Lord of the Rings movies, but it's still so much better than most movies out there.

One of the best movies submitted by DoodleBob on June 16, 2013, 1:29pm This movie just go better with a better picture and surround sound

Great movie submitted by kittenkat101 on August 18, 2013, 5:07pm The Two Towers is a great movie--probably my favorite out of the trilogy! The scenery shown in it is beautiful and the story is a classic. It has lots of action and a great plot.

good submitted by AprilCDB on July 29, 2014, 11:47am I like watching these movies. I've never read the books but plan on doing it someday

LOTR: The Two Towers film submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 28, 2015, 11:13pm This is my favorite of the movie trilogy, even though it's not my favorite of the books - maybe in part because it roped me in so much more compared to the book. The battle of Helm's Deep and all that leads up to it is fantastic. I don't mind the plot changes or goofy additions much. I find Theoden's character arc extremely moving, and I love Eowyn.

Good submitted by hollieesper121573 on August 10, 2017, 8:20pm good movie

Good submitted by zmclaugh on August 14, 2018, 1:30pm A good adaptation, though it is my least favorite in the trilogy, possibly because it's in the middle. Good cinematography and music.

Loved it submitted by Rumshaker13 on August 13, 2019, 4:38pm Great battle scenes and love the music and characters. A must watch

Best of the Trilogy submitted by Meginator on August 23, 2020, 6:46pm As with the books, this is the strongest film of the series, though the Fellowship of the Ring comes close. The film successfully interweaves the stories of Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas; Merry and Pippin; and Sam and Frodo without too much disruption to any one of the three primary story threads, focusing on the stories’ shared emotional movement to shift between settings. The battle for Helm’s Deep is lengthy but not boring, carrying within it its own miniature plotlines that create satisfying character arcs and plot development that mirror other concurrent storylines. Any middle book in a trilogy has to act as a linchpin between the opening and conclusion, and while many get lost in the details this film carries real emotional heft that grounds the series and ultimately provides its thematic core. These are the moments when the characters start to make the decisions that truly turn the tide of history, and the film accurately and effectively moves the story along while creating (and concluding) its own satisfying narrative arcs.
