Karate Kid submitted by SBNB on June 26, 2012, 8:27pm The Karate Kid is a great movie with a good story to tell. It was better than I expected, and I recommend it.
Surprisingly fun submitted by willow on July 19, 2014, 3:54pm Having seen this when it first came out, I had fond but slightly vague memories of the blond bullies, Mr. Miyagi (who, sadly, is stuck with semi-pidgin English, devoid as it is of any articles), waxing on and waxing off, and so forth, but I have to say, it held up well and was a very fun reminder of the 1980s atmosphere and teen movie genre. It is an enjoyable movie, but beware the endless sequels.
Great movie submitted by DL on June 28, 2016, 8:44pm Loved this when it first came out and is a great classic. We quote wax on wax off, it would be great if every kid could have a mentor like Mr. Miyagi.
TKK submitted by a2sue on August 11, 2017, 11:50pm The Karate Kid is an 80s classic -- who doesn't fondly remember "wax on, wax off" and the crane technique? Fun stuff!!
Classic 80s movie submitted by crp on August 6, 2019, 9:41pm Classic 80s movie; Still worth watching now in 2019!
