Love the kitchen scenes especially submitted by brooksza on August 15, 2022, 11:09am Even though I'm not a parent, I found myself able to relate to both Ted and Joanna in different ways. Ted in the way he has to juggle work and family responsibilities. Joanna in the feeling of being so trapped by something in your life, you feel the only option is pulling the ripcord. I don't really identify with her in the final scene, that just makes her seem flakey and noncommittal.

I appreciate the way the last few scenes tie in so many elements from the movie. I think the first half of the movie (solo dad adventures) was more compelling than the second half (custody trial). But the facial acting by both leads during the trail was impressive.
