Good book for introducing Spanish submitted by Ilyjtwya on August 5, 2011, 4:23am This book intoduces Spanish words within a familiar story which is mostly in Spanish. Each word is introduced with its English version and from that point the Spanish is used (with context clues to reinforce the meaning). The CD is useful but not necessary. It is good for hearing proper pronunciation and audio context clues, like a sad tone of voice for the word for sad. After the second time my son (8) decided it would be fun to say the translations each time.
