This edition includes the original 1975 documentary, Grey Gardens along with the unseen archival footage for the 2006 documentary, Beales of Grey Gardens.

I know people love this documentary, and I understand how it was groundbreaking. submitted by lisa on July 25, 2019, 2:58pm Personally, I think it's not only depressing but ethically iffy, along the lines of exploitation, ruin porn, gawking at the eccentric (from an implied assumed perspective of the not-so-eccentric). In short, it's othering. On some deep gut level, I object. And I am suspicious of the flavor/spirit of the fandom around the film.
