But Ned's life is complicated when he brings his childhood sweetheart back to life and keeps her alive. Life would be perfect except if Ned ever touches her again, she'll go back to being dead, this time for good.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

It Ended Too Soon! submitted by Meginator on July 22, 2021, 9:05pm Wow, everyone was definitely *not* kidding when they talked about this show’s ending; it’s painfully obvious that the final episode was intended to be a season-ender, not a show-ender, although the writers did their best with a tacked-on epilogue that provides satisfying, though incredibly rushed, conclusions to the show’s various running storylines. Although the show’s steadfast resolve to stick to its established and painfully repetitive episode format begins to get long in the tooth during this season, a third and (deliberately) final season would have really allowed the writers to explore some interesting ideas that are set up in the final episodes. As it stands, this is a highly stylized show that was just a bit ahead of its time, a little too quirky for network television but wonderful for a binge watch. Some of the character development this season was unfortunate, but the supporting cast got plenty of overdue attention and the core ensemble clicked together as well as ever. Like Charlotte “Chuck” Charles herself, this show met its ending before its time, although unfortunately it will never have the chance to properly bloom.
